We are a movement in the sense that our objectives and mandates are in a motion like state. We are not in an inertia or stagnant form instead we have embarked on a vigorous campaign that is ever in motion. We are always on the move.
Promoting is a perfect continuous tense implying an ongoing process.
Principles are fundamental guidelines that are based on the Law. Principles endeavor to put an explanation to issues. Principles do not change regardless of the timeframe instead they remain the same. WHAT ARE ZAMBIA'S NATIONAL VALUES AND PRINCIPLES? They include; - (a) Morality and Ethics; (b) Patriotism and National Unity; (c) Democracy and Constitutionalism; (d) Human Dignity, Equity, Social Justice, Equality and Non - Discrimination; (e) Good Governance and Integrity; (f) Sustainable Development. In summary, there are 14 National Values and Principles in total.
Our scoop of activities covers the entire Country. We are not restricted to a configured area neither are we restricted to particular designated territories. Our activities cut across boards. MPNVP is a Movement that is limitless in terms of coverage. Our mandate is National.
Values are defined as Beliefs or Standards. Our Country is blessed with over 70 tribes (73). Each and every tribe has its own beliefs, customs, traditional concepts, norms and activities. As a Country, Zambia is endowed with rich values and principles. Values are cherished beliefs and patterns of behaviors that are generally accepted as fundamental guidelines for everyone. Every Nation be it an Institution, a Company, an Organization or an individual is identified by Values.
